We are currently accepting applications for the 2009–2010 corps year.

As a City Year Little Rock/North Little Rock corps member, you will join more than 30 other teammates in serving the children and schools in Little Rock and North Little Rock.

If you are interested in joining City Year Little Rock/North Little Rock:

  • Attend a service event! Speak with corps members and learn more about our program.

The Application Process

1. Complete the online application. If you cannot apply online, you can either download a paper application or contact us to request a hard copy application.

2. Letters of Recommendation. Request two letters of recommendation, using the forms provided in the application, from people who know you on a professional or academic basis.

3. Mail the completed references to the City Year Little Rock/North Little Rock office.  If you completed a hard copy application also mail us your application form and essays.

4. Interview. City Year is a competitive program and we conduct interviews with all of our qualified candidates. If you are unable to interview locally, City Year will conduct a phone interview with you.

Be a Recruitment Champion

Recruitment Champions are community members who help City Year Little Rock/North Little Rock recruit highly motivated and dedicated 17-24 year olds to dedicate 10 months to making a difference in the lives of Central Arkansas' children and communities.

There are several ways to get involved:

  • Refer a dedicated 17-24 year old.
  • Learn about City Year through attending our community events and service events throughout the year.
  • SPREAD THE WORD!!!  Tell your friends, family and neighbors about the work City Year is doing in Central Arkansas.
